Wow, wow, wow. Another BookExpo and BookCon under my belt! This trip was significantly more exhausting than last year, mostly due to the fact that I had to lug my suitcases full of books far further and on many more subway transfers than before!
I stayed with a client who lives in the Upper East side, and it was so lovely to see a part of New York that I haven’t seen before, and to meet such an interesting woman. Her name is Lucy Lipiner, and she is a Holocaust survivor. We helped her re-publish her book, Long Journey Home, and it was so, so kind of her to let me stay with her.
SO. BookExpo. Craziness as always! There are tons of amazing books that I picked up and lots of fun new friendships to explore!
Here are some highlights in picture form, including stacks of the books I brought home. You might have seen these on my Twitter feed, if you were following along! 🙂
Lots to look forward to in 2018 and 2019 before the next BookExpo/Con! See all of you there!
